Golden West Radio
Golden West Radio operates eight radio stations throughout southern Manitoba. As the hub of Golden West's operations, CFAM Radio 950 in Altona sets the standard in community service radio. Adding to the strong local commitment to residents in the Red River Valley and Winnipeg are CKMW Country 1570 and The Eagle 93.5 FM in Winkler. And serving the agricultural communities in the southwest region is CJRB Radio 1220 in Boissevain.
Broadcasting to residents in the southeast, AM1250 and Mix 96.7 FM target the agriculture communities and the many businesses it supports. Providing service to Winnipeg and outlying communities with Christian music and programming is CHVN 95.1 FM. And set in the gateway to the west, CFRY 920 AM, 93.1 FM and Mix 96.5 FM in Portage la Prairie covers all of Central Manitoba and the Interlake area northwest of Winnipeg.
Serving Central and Southern Saskatchewan for over 80 years is 800 CHAB in Moose Jaw. On the FM dial, Country 100.7 delivers country music and local programming to a far-reaching audience throughout the south. The newest station to come to Moose Jaw is Mix103.9 FM. Broadcasting to the agricultural communities surrounding Swift Current are CKSW Radio 570, The Eagle 94.1 FM and Magic 97.1 FM. CJSN Radio 1490 in Shaunavon reaches the Southwestern-most regions of Saskatchewan.
Serving one of the strongest oil exploration economies in the country are CJ1280 and Sun 102.3 FM in Estevan. Located in Weyburn, AM1190 and Magic 103.5 FM provide community service radio and music programming. Rosetown and Kindersley are home to CJYM 1330, CFYM 1210 Radio and Mix 104.9 FM, reaching communities throughout West Central Saskatchewan.
Located in High River just 30 miles south of Calgary, AM1140 broadcasts on 50,000 watts to South Central Alberta Foothills Country. The Eagle 100.9 FM operates out of Okotoks, Alberta and reaches audiences South to the American border, across Alberta's foothills, north to Calgary and beyond. 98.1 CKVN in Lethbridge broadcasts Christian radio programming to its listeners in the south eastern reaches of Alberta and western extremes of Saskatchewan. Country 99.7 FM is a 16,000 watt station that serves High River, Okotoks and the Foothills with the biggest stars and best country music. We are pleased to be the newest station in Alberta: 99.5 Drum FM is the first FM station in the Dinosaur Valley. We are proud to be serving the Badlands region with "The Valley's Best Variety!
