This fall, Winnipeg's arts community will script an exciting new chapter with the launch of the City's only classical music station. With an eye on the rich culture throughout our city and the province, our unique format will encompass traditional classic music, opera, operetta, choral, popular music theater and classic jazz and pops. We'll also have extensive local coverage of the performing arts scene, including festivals, concerts, productions, and plays. And most importantly, we'll bring our listeners a behind the scenes look at the people who make it all happen!
Golden West is a Canadian broadcast company with roots planted deeply here in Manitoba. We are a company built on supporting and developing the local culture in the communities in which we operate. We are excited to serve Winnipeg with a radio station appealing to Winnipeg's vast classical and jazz audience.
If you have a passion for the people and the stories that make Winnipeg such a vibrant arts community, we need to hear from you. We are currently accepting resumes for a variety of positions to help us with pre-launch initiatives starting in the coming weeks. As launch day approaches, we'll also need community-connected on-air talent, administrative staff and sales representatives.
